Terms of Service
Last updated August 18, 2026.
TaprootContentCo is one person: a vegetable-gardening blog and a done-for-you SEO content service, both run by Riley Hofmann. These terms cover the site itself. A client project has its own agreement, worked out individually before anything starts.
The blog content
Everything on this blog is general, educational information about vegetable gardening: not professional horticultural, agricultural, or safety advice specific to your situation. Conditions differ by climate, soil, and region, so treat what's here as a starting point and check it against your local extension service, which several posts link to directly.
Content is provided as-is. I write from real, direct experience (two growing seasons as of this writing, stated plainly wherever it's relevant), but I can't guarantee your results. Gardens vary.
Using the content
The writing and images on this site belong to TaprootContentCo / Riley Hofmann unless a source is credited otherwise. Quote a passage and link back, that's welcome. Republishing whole posts elsewhere isn't, without asking first.
Links to other sites
Blog posts link to outside sources, mainly university extension services, for anyone who wants more depth. I don't control those sites and I'm not responsible for what's on them.
The content service
The done-for-you SEO blog content offer described on the Services page is scoped and priced individually per project after we talk. Nothing on this site is itself a binding agreement to deliver work; that happens once a project is actually scoped and agreed to directly.
Changes to these terms
I'll update this page and the date at the top if anything here changes, particularly as the content service takes on real client work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA.
